Lifting the lid on Windows 11's new flavour: 'We looked at the Microsoft logo and turned it blue'

Microsoft is building up to its Windows 11 release date on October 5, and it's revealed some of the thinking behind the redesign of its OS.

Fashioning sure that when populate look at it they'atomic number 75 like 'yeah, I like IT' and 'yeah, that's Windows'.

'Vincent' Brand Coach, Microsoft

And it's not quite As coordination compound a process Eastern Samoa you might guess, at any rate in places.

"We looked at the Microsoft logo and turned information technology bluing," one Microsoft employee says during its in vogue video recording (above) on the Windows 11 rebrand.

The Windows 11 logo, you might recall, has fall in various forms over the years but for the most part it's been successful up of four square-ish shapes. For its latest incarnation, it literally is just four squares.

But 4 Dejected squares. And they're no longer italicised, either.

Not to be confused with the 4 slightly starting time blue squares of the Windows 10 logotype.

The old logo was aristocratical, right? Or am I losing IT?

Fundament I even be dependable this video isn't in reality satire of Apple ads from a decade ago? Is Microsoft that person aware Beaver State is this an earnest attempt to explain the rebrand? Would I even off recognise an earnest attempt by a company at this point operating room has marketing ruined my percept of what's actual and what's not?

I can't even Be sure if Vincent from the video recording is proper. A cursory glance at LinkedIn suggests Vincent isn't real. Or at any rate isn't easily searchable on LinkedIn.

The sole Sojourner Truth I know is that, yes, the Windows 11 logo is blue. Except when it's not.
